I must admit I referred to the VapeXhale Cloud EVO as the “college bong” when I first tried it. Probably because it floored me like those good old fashioned glass 3-footers I would combust out of in college. We won’t get into how long ago that was, but I’m sure the same bongs are being used on college campuses around the world at this very moment.
Fast-forward to today and I have a great appreciation for this vaporizer as a strong, heavy hitting device that can also deliver light, aromatic hits. It really depends on your draw strength and what temperature you’ve set, so you are in control. I was going at it like I was in college again, so I got those monster “college bong” hits. Then I realized, I’m not a big hitter. I’m a cougher, so calm it down a bit. I turned down the temperature dial and slowed my draw. And you know what happened? Smooth, aromatic, effective hits.
There’s a lot to like about the EVO. It’s a very versatile desktop vaporizer. You can use it with your favorite existing water piece, a custom HydraTube, or even that favorite bong from college!
How to Enjoy the VapeXhale Cloud EVO
Materials:
1. Dry Herbs - Vape dry herbs with the included EZ Load Bowls. Pre-pack these little screen pods with ground up herbal goodness for an efficient vape session. When using the Easy Load Bowls for dry herbs you are able to turn the entire vaporizer unit upside down and insert into your favorite 18mm water piece down stem.
2. Wax/Oils - Vape wax and oils out of the VapeXhale with the Xnail attachment (sold separately). The Xnail makes the air path truly all-glass as it eliminates the metal screen used for dry herbs and creates a very clean, flavorful hit.
Delivery Method:
1. VapeXhale HydraTubes
Different diffusion patterns provide you with a more compact footprint and custom experience. The footprint when used with the HydraTubes is very appealing as you can easily store the glass on top of the device, or on a separate Hydrafoot stand.
Currently three HydraTube options are available:
- Turbine HydraTube has percolators designed to maximize the vapor flavor output.
- HydraHoneyComb HydraTube for maximum vapor flow.
- HydraBomb HydraTube for maximize vapor diffusion.
2. Use as fire
If you have a standard 18.8mm down stem in your water piece, you can simply flip the whole Cloud EVO unit upside down and use the vaporizer instead of the bowl you would normally light on fire. Note this is only possible when vaping dry herbs as the Xnail does not work while upside down.
3. Adapter to Hose to Water Pipe
Set up a nice little rig using your hydrator of choice. VaporWarehouse has a large selection of ground glass adapters to take an existing water piece and use it with a hose connected to the Cloud EVO. You would need an 18mm Female Adapter to fit on the top of the EVO vaporizer plus a Male Glass Adapter to fit your hydrator. Oh and don’t forget the hose!
4. VapeXhale Standard Glass Mouthpiece
Enjoy the Cloud EVO without water filtration with the EVO Standard Glass Mouthpiece, the EVO produces such smooth vapor it is not necessary to filter through water if you prefer. This ground glass tube fits on top of the vaporizer and delivers clean vapor hits direct from the air path.
5. Vaporbrothers Aftermarket Whip
That’s right! You can use an Aftermarket Vaporbrothers whip on top of the EVO vaporizer for a vapor whip experience. Aftermarket means it is not the usual 16mm Hands Free Whip by Vaporbrothers, but the larger 18.8mm Aftermarket whip made to work with non-Vaporbrothers vaporizers. If you already have a Vaporbrothers EZ Change whip, you could get this setup by grabbing the larger 18.8mm EZ Change Whip Tip.
