Sometimes your day becomes consumed with projects you were not expecting to have to deal with. Today was such a day. Last Friday we set up a subcategory in the Accessories section on the website despite only having one of the 13 items in stock (the remaining items should be here this Friday). The subcategory is for the portable Vaporbrothers vaporizer The Dabbler by Vape-Pen accessories. Sorry so many of my blog posts mention this vaporizer but it has consumed my life for the past month and a half. I feel like I spend more time dealing with this vaporizer than I do my 7 week old baby.
One of the new accessories for the Dabbler is the replaceable heater with ceramic dish. Hopefully future redesigns will encase the exposed wick in ceramic but that's a whole other topic best left for another day. I wasn't too happy with the photos of the Dabbler heater we were provided with to place on the site. Apparently Vaporbrothers were of the same opinion, so after several e-mails and skypes I decided it was time to break out the camera and do a quick photo session followed by a not so quick photoshop session followed by a series of e-mails with revised images going back and forth. All the while packing orders and answering phone calls between tweaking images. Below is the end result of a simple image that is not always so simple to accomplish.
The good news to report is that the Dabbler seems to be improving with age and use. While not our favorite at first it has quickly found the top spot for my business partner. He can be a tough critic but after spending some time alone with it on vacation he came back convinced. So hopefully the next Vaporbros Dabbler vape blog is his review. And hopefully I can come up with something a bit more inspiring than this blog and this photo the next time my fingers hit the keys.
