Use of Chinese Medicine Tested

by | |

Here is a pretty neat article on how the use of Chinese  medicine may help the fight against memory loss and Alzheimer's disease. Here is a little taste of the article:
"A fourth study, this one conducted in China, found that an plant extract improved cognitive function in people with mild cognitive impairment, often a precursor to Alzheimer's. The extract, known as GETO (for ginseng, epimedium, thinleaf milkwort root and two other plants), has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine."

There have been a number of promising research papers coming out this week about helping those with declining cognitive skills. Another article may have linked high doses of Folic Acid to improving cognitive skills in adults.
