Reviewed By J.R. MA Pros: This is absolutely the best vaporizer you can get for the money. Simple, elegant, functional. No noisy fans to ruin the mood. I haven't tried the hands free and am honestly not interested because there is a lot more flexibility in how you angle the whip to the heating element. Very easy to use and so much easier on the lungs. Cons: A couple suggestions below, but no real complaint. I've gotten a lot of use out of it with absolutely no problems or decline in performance. Other Thoughts: Auto shutoff would be a good safety feature. Temperature readings would be nice too, perhaps available on an upgraded model.

The ceramic heating element cant be beaten. Cons: Nothing; have never had any problems. it does what it says. Other Thoughts: This wont be my last VB. They last years but I usually find someone to give my old one to when a new model comes out. My first one is still being used today over 6 years later.

A Quality Vaporizer at a Good Price

Reviewed By E.S. CA Pros: I've been totally satisfied with my vaporizer. The unit warms up quickly (I usually wait 5-7 mins) and provides a great vaporizing experience. The whip fits nicely with the heating element and is easy to use. Cons: There is not anything bad to say about the vaporizer, but a few suggestions would be: 1)extend the panel below the heating element so that it is flush with the back..this would prevent any loose material that falls out of the whip during vaping from falling down into the electronic components of the unit; 2)make it with a longer power cord so that the user has greater choice on where to enjoy the vaporizer Other Thoughts: In order to get the most out of your vaporizer the whip and hose need to be cleaned/replaced regularly. As soon as you notice that it requires more effort to draw a hit you should clean the whip and clean/replace the hose. I clean the hose the first couple times then replace it on the third cleaning cycle. I have found that the screen does not need to be replaced if the whip is cleaned regularly. I've found that following the cleaning instructions on the Vapor Warehouse site results in a good-as-new screen.

Oh, and the blue LED is very tasteful. Cons: I wish I had purchased the hands-free model rather than this one. I thought I'd enjoy the interaction that comes with the hands-on model, but I soon realized that the hands-free would come in handy in so many different situations (bed, parties, etc.). My first vaporizer, this thing rocks

Usually end up using it at the 10:30 setting myself Cons: I can really only think of the one thing on my unit at least, the power switch on it sometimes sticks when turned on, have to wiggle it sometimes to get it to do the full click to on. But other than that I can't think of anything I don't like about it. Besides I am sure the warranty will take care of it if it was to fail Other Thoughts: And oh yea, I broke my original whip at probably day 12. Concrete floor vs. glass=crash. Thats on me there, so I ordered 2 of the smaller whips and got them in my mail box all the way from the west cost in like 2 days.

Solid Product, worth the price

Reviewed By Steve E. NY Pros: Lightweight, durable, inconspicuous, and easy to use. Cons: There needs to be a thermometer that displays temperature. Not a dial that you set it to a number and it heats to that point, but simply a thermometer on the face of the unit that tells you the current temperature of the heater. This doubles as a room thermometer when not in use! Also, the hose that comes with the whip should be upgraded from 3/16" to 1/4", and about 6-8 inches longer. Other Thoughts: I've had my vap for 21 months and it the heater just died on me, so I am sending it in for repair. It has functioned very well up to this point and remains one of the best inventions of mankind, we well as one of the best vaps around. Much better than the Volcano.

No Brainer

This thing is amazing, I use the non hands free/original one, and it's awesome. I love the look and simplicity of it. The warranty is out of this world amazing, the customer service is great and the results just as good. Cons: NOT A THING! one time I had some tobacco spill on/into the heating element, I freaked out called Vaporwarehouse, they assured me it's not a big deal at all considering it heats up to 1000*F so it's like as the guy said ''an oven on self clean''. Other Thoughts: seriously, before even thinking about buying a vape, come to this site. Vapor Brothers vape is hands down for the price the best and most reputable vape around. It's stupid to spend more on a cheap imitation when it's unhealthier and won't last as long. The KEY thing here is the Vapor Brothers LIFETIME warranty. By far the best vaporizer on the market for under $300. Cons: The panel below the heating element has a gap between it and the back panel, this allows material meant for vaporization to fall down and get lodged within the vaporizer. Usually it just requires some vigorous shaking to get them out, but still an annoying design quirk Other Thoughts: The back panel is a fraction of a millimeter too small on either side, so it lets the lights from the LEDs in the base leak in. On the other hand, it looks really cool when you look at it straight on

Only way to smoke, helps with lung problems

Well I can definitely say that it has helped in that regard, as my asthma has not been acting up since I got it. The unit is also extremely efficient and once you figure out the correct temperature setting (I like mine @ 12 o'clock) you will wonder how you ever lived without one. Well worth the price! Cons: Takes a little while to get heated up, but once it is it stays maintains its heat. Screen is hard to change, especially without the tool that is available for purchase. Should come bundled with one, since you WILL need to replace your screen. Other Thoughts: Don't leave the unit on if you are not going to be using it, as you can burn it out.

Reviewed By H.B. IL Pros: Works as advertised, no problems. The regular vape lets you carb your draw during the draw and clear the whip of vapor between draws which is why I selected it. Stirring the herb is simplified as well but I find I only have to stir once per session after taking 4 or more draws so you really don't have to stir after every draw. The regular vape is probably also better when you have more than one participant and give each their own whip. Both the standard and mini whips work fine. Cons: None. Other Thoughts:

Standard Vapor Brothers Herbal Vaporizer

How it works

Hold the Vaporbrothers Whip® to the Vaporizer manually, the Vapor Whip® does NOT connect to the heat element. The Vaporizer Whip® stays cool and allows you easy viewing of your herbs. Vaporbrothers most economical model.

Briefly, the Vapor Brothers® Vaporizer allows a person to inhale essential ingredients from herbal material without the use of fire. The Vaporbrothers® Vaporizer uses hot air to warm the plant matter until active ingredients are absorbed by the air. Instead of using fire to burn the ingredients out of the plant matter, our product releases the ingredients quickly and efficiently without the ingredient losses, tar, and odor associated with smoking.

The VaporBrothers® vaporizer warms up once and is ready for the rest of the day. The glass hand piece (whip) is packed lightly, not more than 1/3 full. As soon as the hand piece (whip) is connected with the heating element of the Vapor Brothers® Vaporizer, the user inhales instant vapor through the tube. Vapor goes in clear and is exhaled as a big cloud of white mist. The mist vanishes in air, not lingering around like smoke. Your lungs are saved inhaling the plant ash and tar. The standard size hand piece offers about 4 big inhales before the herbal material dries and becomes brown. Stir it up and try again or unload the hand piece using the supplied tool. The user blows through the tube to expel the spent material into a container.

Getting the right hit is a science. VaporBrothers® Vaporizer owners learn their machine in about 1 week (usually less). Get used to packing very small amounts, fluffed up slightly.

We recommend the following procedure:

1. Turn the unit to half power (the line pointing straight up or half way from the on click to the end) for 4 to 5 min utes.
2. Grind up your herbs while the unit is heating. We recommend any of the 1905, Kannastor, or Cosmic herb grinders we sell or you can chop up the herbs with a knife.
3. Place your herbs into the Vaporizer Whip®, not filling too much (1/3 full is the maximum you want to put in there) and lightly set them into place using the supplied tool.
   
   NOTE: You do not need to use much herb. We recommend placing enough in the Vaporbrothers Whip® to cover the screen with about 1/8 of an inch of material. Don't sweat it, you will figure it out quickly.
4. Finally, place the Vaporizer Whip® up to the heating element and inhale air (draw) a full breath. If when you exhale you see a white mist, you are in the zone you want to be. If there is no mist, inhale more quickly. You can control the amount of vapor created by varying the intensity and duration of air you inhale. Practice makes perfect.

You may need to vary the temperature of the unit slightly from the mid point, but this is a very good starting point if not the only place you will ever need to set it.
