"Classic" should be the name of this vaporizer from Vaporbrothers®. This is the one that started it all. Long before VaporBox, VaporWarez, Vapor Cannon, Easy Vape, Aroma Classic, and all the other knock-offs existed, Vapor Brothers® invented the classic box style vaporizer that would change the vapor market and still be as useful today as it was when it was introduced in 1999.

Unlike the Hands Free model, the Vapor Whip does not connect to the 100% all natural ceramic heat element. By manually holding the Whip to the heat element the user has better control over the vaporizing experience. Simply rolling the tip of the Whip over the heat element redirects the air flow and provides a better overall browning of the herbs. The Standard Whip stays cooler than the Hands Free Whip and allows easy viewing of your herbs. Vaporbrothers® most economical model.

This model will only work with Vaporbrothers® Regular/Standard Whips, Mini-Thin Whips, and the Vapor Brothers® EZ change Whip Kit.

Los Angeles, CA Pros: -Conserves a lot of herb (doubles my stash) -Vapor tastes great -Looks cool -Plenty of accessories Cons: -Learning curve of about a week -Angle of heating element can cause loose herb to fall out the whip if you're not careful Other Thoughts: I much prefer the regular to the hands free. When I vaporize I have to stir the herb and rotate the whip constantly anyway so to me there is no point in a hands free model. Great vaporizer! Highly recommended! Wonderful customer service and fast shipping also a plus.

Reviewed By J.R. MA Pros: This is absolutely the best vaporizer you can get for the money. Simple, elegant, functional. No noisy fans to ruin the mood. I haven't tried the hands free and am honestly not interested because there is a lot more flexibility in how you angle the whip to the heating element. Very easy to use and so much easier on the lungs. Cons: A couple suggestions below, but no real complaint. I've gotten a lot of use out of it with absolutely no problems or decline in performance. Other Thoughts: Auto shutoff would be a good safety feature. Temperature readings would be nice too, perhaps available on an upgraded model.

I have had this for over a month and a half and its payed for itself:D Cons: The only bad thing, well not bad but minor inconvenience is the heating element is at a high angle and it seems like you would spill your herbs on the element...but thats it. Other Thoughts: Either the hands free or the Standard, you cant go wrong with VaporBrothers :D

How it works

Regular Vaporizer
Hold the Whip to the Vaporizer manually, the Whip does NOT connect to the heat element. The Whip stays cool and allows you easy viewing of your herbs. Vaporbrothers most economical model.

Briefly, the vaporizer allows a person to inhale essential ingredients from herbal material without the use of fire. The vaporizer uses hot air to warm the plant matter until active ingredients are absorbed by the air. Instead of using fire to burn the ingredients out of the plant matter, our product releases the ingredients quickly and efficiently without the ingredient losses, tar, and odor associated with smoking.

The VaporBrothers® vaporizer warms up once and is ready for the rest of the day. The glass hand piece (whip) is packed lightly, not more than 1/3 full. As soon as the hand piece (whip) is connected with the heating element of the vaporizer, the user inhales instant vapor through the tube. Vapor goes in clear and is exhaled as a big cloud of white mist. The mist vanishes in air, not lingering around like smoke. Your lungs are saved inhaling the plant ash and tar. The standard size hand piece offers about 4 big inhales before the herbal material dries and becomes brown. Stir it up and try again or unload the hand piece using the supplied tool. The user blows through the tube to expel the spent material into a container.

Getting the right hit is a science. VaporBrothers® Vaporizer owners learn their machine in about 1 week (usually less). Get used to packing very small amounts, fluffed up slightly.

We recommend the following procedure:

1. Turn the unit to half power (the line pointing straight up or half way from the on click to the end) for 4 to 5 min utes.
2. Grind up your herbs while the unit is heating. We recommend any of the 1905, Kannastor, or Cosmic herb grinders we sell or you can chop up the herbs with a knife.
3. Place your herbs into the whip, not filling too much (1/3 full is the maximum you want to put in there) and lightly set them into place using the supplied tool.
   
   NOTE: You do not need to use much herb. We recommend placing enough in the whip to cover the screen with about 1/8 of an inch of material. Don't sweat it, you will figure it out quickly.
4. Finally, place the whip up to the heating element and inhale air (draw) a full breath. If when you exhale you see a white mist, you are in the zone you want to be. If there is no mist, inhale more quickly. You can control the amount of vapor created by varying the intensity and duration of air you inhale. Practice makes perfect.

You may need to vary the temperature of the unit slightly from the mid point, but this is a very good starting point if not the only place you will ever need to set it.
