We get this question often - How can I save money on vape pen heaters?
Choosing to vape wax or other extracts with a pen style of vaporizer is a very convenient method of administering cannabis. A wax vape pen is the ultimate companion for those who want to stay lifted on the go with very little hassle. It’s sleek, discreet, and relatively low maintenance.
However, vape pens do require some level of continuous investment in heaters to ensure the same quality experience over time. Heaters may need to be replaced every couple of weeks for daily driver users. Some vapers can stretch a heater up to six months if rarely used. The life of a heater depends on many factors: type of extract used, level of care taken while filling, and general wear and tear.
What if you fall into this “every couple of weeks” category?
Let’s use the Vaporbrothers VB11 Pen for example. At $15.99 a piece plus shipping, this can add up to over $34 per month (plus tax if in CA!), which for some is prohibitive. Clean out the bottom trench by flipping it upside down and letting the old extract drip out the side (remove cone/mouthpiece). Take care in filling the heater and never touch the coil.
