The Zephyr Ion Vaporizer is the latest addition to the bag style vaporizer market. The Zephyr Ion features a large digital display that is accurate to within a few degrees. The goal of the Zephyr Ion vaporizer was to create a vaporizer for the vapor enthusiasts who enjoy the bag style delivery that was efficient, user friendly and reasonably priced.

Because of the accurate temperature control and consistent air speed the Zephyr Ion vaporizer is able to produce consistent vapor over and over again. This allows you to find a temperature you like and receive a consistent experience time after time. Additionally this extends the life of your herbs by allowing you to extract the essence bits at a time with very little waste.

Zephyr Ion Vaporizer Review

In our opinion the Zephyr Ion vaporizer performs as well or better than the Volcano vaporizer at nearly half the price, which is why we decided to add it to our product line. There are some things we really like about this unit, and of course some things we didn't like so much.

Zephyr Ion Vaporizer - Likes

Heats up fast - This unit goes from cold to fully heated in about 3 minutes. That's a bit faster than the Volcano.

Bag is secured to the Zephyr vaporizer - I don't know how many times I've knocked my bag off the Volcano Vaporizer while filling, wasting precious vapor.

Efficient, even vaporization - The way the air comes through the basket I haven't had to stir my herbs once, they vaporize evenly and efficiently.

Digital display with 'ready' indicator - It's nice to be able to tell from a distance that the Zephyr vaporizer is at your desired temperature with the large green LCD indicator.

Includes 2 ready to use mouthpieces - Right out of the box you can vape with a friend without sharing the bag, this is a nice little touch that you will really enjoy when vaping with your more 'slobbery' friends.

Zephyr Ion Vaporizer - Dislikes

Amber light stays on even when unit is turned off - Not only is this annoying but it's also a waste of power. Look for this to get fixed in a firmware upgrade (that's why there is a USB port)

Herbs get cooked if you leave the top closed after vaping - This is a big one for me because I haven't once remembered to pop the top after filling the bag. I remedied this by only putting in one bag worth of herbs.

Hot plastic around air intake - I don't think there are any health issues here but it's just a personal thing for me that I don't like hot plastic near the air I am inhaling.

Mouthpiece not a natural fit - This may be just me but the Zephyr Vaporizer mouthpiece just doesn't feel natural when trying to inhale, I'm never sure if I should pucker up or mouth the whole thing.

The Zephyr Ion Vaporizer uses forced air over your herbs to extract their essence into the attached bag. The Zephyr Ion features a large digital display with an accurate temperature reading. The herbs are placed in the "baskets", the lid is then closed and the bag attached. The internal fan vaporizes the herbs evenly filling the bag with high quality vapor.
