Can see the texture of the herb you are grinding, while your grinding it!! No more having top open up the grinder to see how much farther to go! Awesome! Durable!!! Cons: ... i have absolutely nothing bad to say about this grinder. Other Thoughts: For under 16 bucks it's a VERY great buy for such a great grinder!! | |

You can use your sight to supplement your feel in getting the right consistency of your herbs. Good value. Cons: It's wide and shallow which makes it more vulnerable to spilling, especially because you do actually have to transfer the herbs to a container. The tin could make a decent container for the herbs, but the lid is always stuck which is more than just annoying. When the lid pops good luck keeping any inside the tin. The diameter of the grinder means you need a wide container. Other Thoughts: I think of this more as novelty item to impress guests. | |

Cons: doesn't get it as fine as id like it sometimes, however if you use a ceramic filter USE THIS. doesn't grind the herb down as fine. Cons: You still need a pick to get the herbs that don't fall out when you tap the grinder. Some finer pieces of herbs get stuck on the tines. Other Thoughts: Even when the grinder gets dirty, the lucite stays crystal clear. | |

Not sure if my dishwasher will be powerful enough to clean it though, but I'm pretty sure you could just use alcohol Cons: It gets kind of hard to turn after a while but thats probably just me being messy, and a few pins are pressed in a little crooked, but thats probably just me being picky, works fine though.
