Corporate America at it’s finest…
As we mentioned in our previous post, the elves at Vapor Warehouse have been working hard to ship each and every order as soon as they are received. However, the Grinch has raised his head in the guise of DHL. For the past two days trying to place a call into DHL customer service has been harder than trying to find a Nintendo wii. Every time we have called DHL, we go through all the bullshit prompts only to be told that the wait time exceeds 15 minutes and to call back. It’s 11:30PM and we are still getting the same message.
My driver had informed me that they didn’t hire additional help for the holidays. Needless to say the poor drivers are over worked and stretched to the limit. I’m sure it’s the same with the poor souls manning the customer service lines. It’s not their fault that some CEO made the executive decision to not hire extra help with the increased traffic. Sad thing is, I’m sure that fat cat CEO is vacationing somewhere warm and spending that year end bonus made from trimming extra workers. And we can’t even file a complaint because we can’t even get through the phone to voice that complaint.
So for those of you still waiting for that package to show (and hopefully it’s not the severance package yours truly received last year from my corporate gig right before Thanksgiving), we feel for you. And a big BAH HUMBUG to corporate CEOs, we hope your stockings are stuffed with worthless stock options. Put these words in your vaporizer and vape it…
