or.... u can do it the hard way, which is what I was doing till I found these tips:

remove tubing.
make metal poker out of wire hanger.
pop the screen out of the glass handpiece with metal poker.
turn on stove to red hot and burn the resin away.
clean the ash.
carefully and painfully re-insert the screen back into the handpiece with the help of the poker, a paper clip, and maybe a narrow-tipped pliers.
Now, annoyed as hell, you can now finally relax and enjoy your apparatus.

Here's a fun way to clean a glass vape whip with a clogged screen.
Step 1 Boil some water in a tea kettle
Step 2 Remove the plastic tubing from the whip (leave the screen in).
Step 3 Get a TALL coffee/tea mug, place the whip wide end up in the mug
Step 4 SLOWLY poor the boing water into the wide end of the whip,
letting the water drain thru and disolve the sticky (water soluable) stuff, until the mug is full.
Step 5 Let it sit 5 minutes or so.
Step 6 REMOVE THE WHIP and place the mug into the microwave to reheat the water for 30 seconds.
Step 7 Add 1 green tea bag into the resinated water for 2-3 minutes.
Step 8 DRINK IT UP!!!! This will get you WASTED so you might want to only drink 1/2 or share it.
Step 9 Smile and Repeat

I have found two easier and equally effective ways of cleaning a whip.

1. a)Fill a mug with boiling water and a teaspoon of dishwasher detergent.
b)Suck up solution to fill glass part of whip.
    c)Blow solution back into cup.
    d)Repeat until clean.
e)Flush with hot water from both ends of the whip.

2. Same process except using rubbing alcohol instead of water/detergent
