New Vaporbrothers Arrivals

Monday, August 22nd, 2005

We have just taken delivery of some brand new whips and accessories from our friends at VaporBrothers. Fumed and mini whips were part of the shipment, so if you are looking for a cool accessory for your VaporBrothers vaporizer, a fumed whip is a great choice. Another piece of news is that it appears Vapor Brothers may be discontinuing the Double Vaporizer that we have carried for a couple of years now. I am not sure exactly what the story is, but apparently they were only making these for a limited time. :) Well, that is news to me. I guess we will have to see what we can do.

What is the Difference Between the Vapor Brothers and The Vapor Warez Vapor Cannon?

Wednesday, August 10th, 2005

We get this question a lot, so I decided to put up a little post.

Things have changed since this post was first create so we decided it was time to update it. The VaporBrothers unit with it’s new all natural mineral heating element is by far the best box style vaporizer on the market today. They spent two years in design to make sure they had a product that would stand up to all aromatherapy and medical scrutiny. With the release of the mineral heating element by Vaporbrothers they are once again the leader in the box style vaporizer market.

Design:
Vapor Brothers has a nice design and quality production and packaging. They also have a colored light under the unit that lets you know it’s on and at what level, in addition in the latest units the heating element now glows colored as well. Additionally the packaging which includes it’s own box, instructions, and a sample pack of herbs is great. The Vaporbrothers now all come with an aroma bowl and an organi oil sampler. The VaporWarez don’t come in their own box or have instructions.

Warranty:
The vaporbrothers now comes with a limited lifetime warranty if you register your unit, the vaporwarez has a 5 year warranty.

Heating Element:
The Vaporbothers has the new ceramic mineral heating element that has been 3rd party tested to produce toxin free vapors. The VaporWarez has a ceramic heating element however some of the components in the vaporizer are still metal, whereas the Vaporbrothers has the only 100% ceramic solution.

Once you get your vaporizer you will probably have a few questions. Our Vaporizer Instructions should help answer them all.

Replace the Screen in Vaporizer Handpiece

Monday, August 1st, 2005

How to replace the screen in your vaporizer whip / handpiece:

This can be tricky. The real key is to come at it from bot sides so you will have to remove the tubing. You can find tips for removing the tubing in our instructions on how to clean your vaporizer handpiece. Once you have the tubing removed get something long and thin to come in the bottom and a pencil eraser works good for the top. Drop the screen in and work it with the eraser and stick from the bottom into place. It’s tricky at first but once you get the hang of it you can replace the screen in no time. If you follow the cleaning instructions however you may never need to replace your screen.

Cleaning Your Vaporizer Whip / Handpiece

Monday, August 1st, 2005

“How do I clean my vaporizer whip / handpiece” is a question we get asked all the time. The plastic tubing connected to the handpiece is better replaced than cleaned. You can buy medical grade tubing at a medical supply store or you can buy standard tubing at home depot or another hardware store.

To clean the handpiece remove the plastic tubing. You can do this by running it under some hot water. If it still does not remove after running it under hot water you can use a razor blade and make a small slit in the tubing. Then remove it and just cut off the end where you made the slit so you have a nice new end.

Once you have the handpiece removed place it in a ziplock bag. Cover it with rubbing alcohol and pour in a fair amount of table salt. Then just zip and shake. Shake for a few minutes and then rinse the handpiece under some warm water. If everything doesn’t come off repeat the process a few times. This should get your handpiece clean as new.

Happy Vaporizing!
